1

Disconnect electrical connection for respective combustion chamber pressure sensor (B4/34, B4/35, B4/36, B4/37, B4/38, B4/39).

Installation: Ensure that electrical connection is mounted and locked correctly.

2

Clean area around the combustion chamber pressure sensor (B4/34, B4/35, B4/36, B4/37, B4/38, B4/39).

3

Remove respective combustion chamber pressure sensor (B4/34, B4/35, B4/36, B4/37, B4/38, B4/39) from cylinder head.

A removed combustion chamber pressure sensor (B4/34, B4/35, B4/36, B4/37, B4/38, B4/39) must not be reused and must be replaced.
Orderly installation is not guaranteed otherwise.

4

Check slot and seat of the combustion chamber pressure sensor (B4/34, B4/35, B4/36, B4/37, B4/38, B4/39) for soiling and damage.

The slot and seat of the combustion chamber pressure sensor (B4/34, B4/35, B4/36, B4/37, B4/38, B4/39) must metallic bright.

5

Clean the slot and seat of the combustion chamber pressure sensor (B4/34, B4/35, B4/36, B4/37, B4/38, B4/39) as well as the thread in cylinder head.

Repeat the cleaning process until the slot and seat are metallic bright. Blow out cleaning residues carefully with air.
Leakage and damage can occur on the cylinder head otherwise.
