Position belt pulley/vibration damper (1) to TDC

Rotate engine at crankshaft.

AR01.00-D-0120C

Parallel key (4) points up.

Install retaining lock (6) for crankshaft/

starter ring gear

Unscrew central bolt (2) together with dished washers (5)

Installation: Oil dished washers (5) and thread of central bolt (2). Install dished washers (5) with the convex face pointing toward the bolt head.

Pull off belt pulley/vibration damper (1)

If belt pulley/vibration damper (1) is tight:

Pull off belt pulley/vibration damper (1)

Installation: The slot of the belt pulley (1) must be aligned with the parallel key (4) in the crankshaft.
