2 | Disconnect connectors of ignition coils (T1/1, T1/2, T1/3) | ||
3 | Remove spark plugs | ||

4 | Disconnect connectors of fuel injection valves (Y62y1, Y62y2, Y62y3) | ||
5 | Screw adaptation (1) into spark plug thread | Adaptation | |
6 | Connect compression pressure recorder (2) | Compression tester set | |
| Check | ||
7 | Crank engine with ignition/starter switch | To check the compression pressure, crank engine for at least 15 revolutions. | |
8 | Carry out test procedure at remaining cylinders in the same way | ||
9 | Compare measurements obtained with the permissible values | Compression pressure: Installation tolerance or new value | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Clear fault memory | ||
