N3/18 Control module with integrated throttle valve actuator

L5 Crankshaft position sensor

R4 Spark plug

 	Remove/install
1	Bring engine to operating temperature (approx. 80 °C )	 Test compression pressure only when engine at normal operating temperature.
2	Remove spark plugs (R4)
	Replace spark plugs		AP15.10-L-1580VB
3	Remove control module with integrated throttle valve actuator (N3/18)	 Throttle valve cannot be opened manually.	AR07.53-L-1000VB
4	Unplug plug at control module with integrate throttle valve actuator (N3/18)
5	Crank engine at ignition lock	 Crank engine several times to eliminate combustion residues in the cylinder.
	Inspect
6	Insert compression recorder (1) into spark plug hole		*001589772100
7	Crank engine at ignition lock	 Crank engine at least 8 revolutions in order to test compression pressure.
8	Carry out test procedure at the remaining cylinders in the same way
9	Compare measurments obtained with the specified pressures	Installation tolerance or value when new.	*BE01.00-P-1001-01E
		Wear limit or limit value.	*BE01.00-P-1002-01E
		Permissible difference between individual cylinders	*BE01.00-P-1003-01E
		 If the measurement is below the service limit or if the permissible difference between individual cylinders is exceeded:
		Inspect cylinders for leaks	AR01.00-L-1300VB
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Read out DTC memory
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		Diagnosis system STAR DIAGNOSIS	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
