5 | Press contact switch on compression tester, crank engine using the starter | Do not crank engine with the ignition/starter switch Turn the engine a number of times with the starter to remove combustion residues in the glow plug drill hole of the cylinder. | |

6 | Screw test adapter (4) into the glow plug drill hole of the cylinder to be tested and connect the compression tester to the test-adapter (4) | ||

7 | Press contact switch on compression tester, crank engine using the starter | Do not crank engine with the ignition/starter switch To check the compression pressure, crank the engine by at least 9 revolutions. | |
8 | Carry out test procedure on the remaining cylinders in the same way | Always vent the compression tester of air before loosening the quick coupling. | |
9 | Compare measurements obtained with the specified pressures | ||
