Clean area around air duct segment (5)



Check air flap (1) for proper operation by opening and closing


The air flap (1) must move freely.
Otherwise damage can occur in the engine compartment.

If there is a problem



Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.

Check seals (2) for damage, deformation and correct seating

If there is a problem



Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.

Check air flap housing (3) for damage, deformation and correct seating

If there is a problem



Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.

Check engine hood paneling (4) for damage, deformation and correct seating


The engine hood paneling (4) must not be deformed, damaged or incorrectly installed.
Otherwise damage can occur in the engine compartment.

If there is a problem

Check air duct segment (5) for damage and that it is corrected seated and attached


The air duct segment (5) must not be deformed, damaged or incorrectly installed.
