1 | Switch off the general switch or disconnect the battery negative cable | Preferentially, we recommend that the battery negative cable end is disconnected, which is attached with a bolt to the chassis frame. Avoid release the negative cable in the battery terminals. | |
2 | Open the cabin front cover | ||
3 | Depressurize the pneumatic system | ||
4 | Mark the compressed air piping to identify them according to the service brake pedal valves connections (1) | Install: Observe the markings made in the disassembling to connect the piping in the respective connections. | |
| Indications about the connection system by coupling to compressed air | ||
5 | Release the connections (2, 3, 4, 5) | With compressed air connection system "VOSS 230" | |
With compressed air connection system "VOSS 232" (NG 8, 12) or "SCHÄFER SDF" (NG 6) | |||
Install: Check the connections in the piping for leakage and, if necessary, replace them. | |||
6 | Put the compressed air piping away from the pedal valve (1) | ||
7 | Release the internal lining of the steering wheel and displace it, positioning it above the crankset | ||
8 | Release and remove the nuts (6) | Install: Replace the self-locking nuts. | |

9 | Remove the brake pedal valve (1) | Install: Check the finishing between the pedal valve and the support and, if necessary, replace it. | |
10 | Install in reverse order | Run the engine until the working pressure is reached and check the pneumatic system tightness. |
