1	Remove the thermostatic valve (1)	Engine 904, 906, 924, 926	AR20.10-B-2460A

2	Attach a wire to the thermostatic valve (1) and immerse it in the container (2) with water
3	Heat up the water with a suitable heating source (5), while stirring the water to obtain a uniform temperature	 Do not use blowtorch to heat up the water.
4	Measure the water temperature	 From 8 o C lower than opening start, the temperature cannot be increased by more than 1 to 2 o C per minute. When water temperature reaches the opening start value, the valve will begin to open.	*BE20.10-B-1001-02B
5	Slowly heat up the water to full stroke temperature (L) of the circuit short valve (1.2)		*BE20.10-B-1003-02B
6	Slowly heat water to the total opening temperature of the main valve (1.1). After 6 to 8 minutes, the main valve (1.1) will be fully open. Next, measure the opening	 If the indicated values are not obtained or in case of any malfunction indication, the thermostatic valve (1) should be replaced by a new one.	*BE20.10-B-1002-02B
