2 | Quickly heat ring gear (1) and remove it under pressure. | During the heating with blow torch, avoid keeping the flame over the ring gear for long time. | |
3 | Measure diameter (B) of ring gear seat (1) on flywheel (2). | ||
4 | Measure internal ring gear diameter (1). | ||

5 | Heat new ring gear (1). | Heat the new ring gear (1) until it reaches the temperature recommended for installation. Do not use blow torch for heating. | |
6 | Install the new ring gear (1) on flywheel (2). | For the perfect seating of the ring gear, user a copper dowel or a press with the appropriate base. | |
