In order to increase customer satisfaction, the following optimizations must be performed on the dropside seal installation kit:
The installation position of the seal (2) on the dropside (3) has been changed. Align seal (2) at dropside (3), as shown, uniformly between the marker lines in the crease of the dropside (3) and glue on; when doing so, observe dimension (a). The sealing lip of the seal (2) must face outwards. The ends of the seal (2) must be aligned uniformly at left and right.
For vehicles with code Y1U (Rollcover) and with code Y1S (Roll bar (Sports bar))
or
for vehicles with code Y1X (Black rollcover, anodized) and with code Y1S (Roll bar (Sports bar)):
The seals (1) of the left and right side must each be shortened at the cross-hatched area (above and below) by the 5 mm dimension (b). The stop buffers (4) at left and right must also be shortened at the cross-hatched areas.
The ends of the seals (1) must not be shortened by more than the 5 mm dimension (b).
Otherwise, the inner metal piping will be exposed and can therefore corrode.
The affected WIS document will be changed shortly.
