Removing

 Danger!

Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit

Do not operate a stationary heater, an auxiliary heater or an engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.

Disconnect ground lead from battery

Remove paneling in driver footwell and at right next to steering column

Remove glove box

Remove paneling below glove box

Remove bracket with the control units in the footwell of the front passenger and place to one side

Remove fuse panel

 Do not disconnect lines

Move driver seat as far forward as possible

Fold up lower bunk and secure

Loosen floor covering in the installation vicinity of the heater and place to one side

Detach soundproofing behind cab

Detach insulation mat on engine-side from engine tunnel

Install

Make cutouts for exhaust gas, combustion air, fuel supply and fastening

Switch on heater as described in operating instructions and perform function check as described in manufacturer's instructions

 Inspect fuel lines and connections for signs of leaks during function check.
