Remove left side cargo area soundproofing

Unscrew nuts (3), release nut (2) and place bracket (4) with sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) to one side

 Do not disconnect electrical lines from sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).

Unscrew nuts (5) and remove bracket (6)

 Installation: Observe routing of pneumatic and electrical lines.

Unclip cover (7) from bracket (6) and place to one side with attached pneumatic line (8)

Remove active multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40/1) with foam insert (9) from bracket (6)

 Installation: Observe routing of pneumatic and electrical lines.

Remove foam insert (9)

Disconnect electrical connector (10)

Unclip catch hooks (arrows) and remove pneumatic connecting block (11)

Remove active multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40/1)

Install in the reverse order

Connect diagnostic system and activate active multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40/1) using diagnostic system

When replacing active multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40/1).


