Danger!

Fuel vapors present an explosion hazard. Combustion gases are toxic when inhaled. Heater can cause severe burns during and after operation

Do not start up or operate stationary heaters or engines with heater boosters in closed rooms or in the vicinity of service stations. Allow heater to cool off after operation and wear protective gloves.

Fuel vapors present an explosion hazard. Fuel vapors are toxic when inhaled or absorbed. Contact with fuel can cause eye and skin injury.

Fire, open lights and smoking prohibited.
Fill and store fuel only in containers intended for this purpose and marked accordingly.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove heater

Remove cover (2) together with gasket (3)

Installation: Check gasket for damage, replace, if necessary.

Remove cable (5) from glow plug (6)

Remove glow plug (6)

Remove sealing ring (7)

Installation: Use new sealing ring.

Remove glow plug screen (8)

Installation: Version D1L-C (diesel)
Observe installation position of lug (arrow A). The bore for the glow plug vent
(arrow B) must be free.

Installation: Version B1L-C (gasoline)
Observe installation of separating joint on screen (arrow C). The bore for the glow plug vent (arrow D) must be free.
