The steering wheel must be in the straight-ahead position. Insert the securing clamp (3) into the opening provided for this (arrow).

Remove combination switch

Remove center air vent on instrument panel center section

Only on driver side.

Remove instrument cluster

Unscrew bolts (2) from instrument cluster paneling (1)

Remove connector from connection lines on electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) (N73) on area of instrument cluster paneling (1)

Remove shift-lock cable from electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) (N73) on rear of instrument cluster paneling (1)

Remove electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) (N73) from instrument cluster paneling (1)

When replacing instrument cluster panel (1).

Remove instrument cluster panel (1) from instrument panel

Install in the reverse order
