Unfasten clamp (1).

Unscrew nut (2) from steering idler arm (3) and screw on again by hand.

 Screw in nut (2) up to safety collar.
This prevents the thread of the ball joint on the drag link (4) from being damaged during removal.

 Counterhold the ball joint with an Allen wrench if necessary.

Pry drag link (4) off steering idler arm (3) with  puller.

 The drag link (4) is released suddenly.

Unscrew nut (2) and remove drag link (4) from steering idler arm (3).

Set front axle to straight-ahead position by adjusting drag link (4).

 To do so, screw the drag link (4) into the ball joint on the steering arm or unscrew from the ball joint, then insert into the steering idler arm (3) and check whether the front axle is in the straight-ahead position after being turned. Repeat procedure until the front axle is in the straight-ahead position. Make sure that the steering gear is still in the center position.

Install new nut (2) and tighten   .

 Counterhold the ball joint with an Allen wrench if necessary.

Tighten clamp (1) with new nut   .
