Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Shift transmission to N position.

Raise vehicle and fix in place on vehicle lift.

Remove rear wheels.

Remove left and right underfloor paneling.

Unscrew screws (11) and remove trim (1).

Remove necessary components of exhaust system.

Remove propeller shaft from rear axle differential, hang to one side and fix in place.

Remove brake caliper with connected brake hoses and hang to one side free of tension.

Remove rear shock absorbers.

Unscrew bolts (3).

 Bolt, rpm sensor to wheel carrier

Unscrew bolts (2).

Remove holders (4) with rpm sensors and electric lines, hang to one side and fix in place.

Remove rear axle springs.

Unclip electric lines from holders for level sensors.

If installed.

Disconnect electrical connectors from level sensors and hang electric lines to one side.

If installed.

Unscrew nuts (13).

Remove fuel metering pump (12) of stationary heater with holder and hang to one side with connected lines.

Attach guard plates for brake disk cover panels.

Remove screws (5) from stop plates (6).

Position lifting platform with support (10) onto rear axle (9) and secure with tensioning strap.



Unscrew screws (7) and remove stop plates (6).


Do not use an impact wrench.
Otherwise, the threads will be damaged.

 Installation: Use compressed air to clean thread in frame floor assembly and check for correct seating of threaded inserts.

Remove bolts (8).


Do not use an impact wrench.

Carefully lower rear axle (9).

Install in the reverse order

Perform chassis alignment.
