	Removing
1	Remove front axle drive shafts		AR33.30-W-0100C
2	Remove ring gear with differential		AR33.30-W-0464B
3	Detach propeller shaft from the front axle	 Support propeller shaft.
4	Remove bolts (3)
5	Pull drive pinion (4) out of axle housing	 Loosen drive pinion with a few gentle hammers blows.
6	Remove external shim (2) from drive pinion (4)
7	Check pinion head bearing (1) in axle housing	 If damaged, replace pinion head bearing (1): 
		Remove/install pinion head bearing (1)	AR33.30-W-0460-01B
		Hot-air gun

	Install
8	Install drive pinion (4) in axle housing	 Install without external shim (2).
9	Measure installed dimension of drive pinion	 In case work on the bevel gear /ring gear has been carried out.	AR33.30-W-0458-01B

		 Dial indicator	*001589532100
		 Extension	*366589002105
		 Adjustment device	*380589002100
10	Remove drive pinion (4) again
11	Determine thickness of external shim (2)	 The thickness results in the bearing preload of the cylindrical roller bearing.	AR33.30-W-0458-05A
			*BE33.30-N-1003-02D
12	Install drive pinion (4) with external shim (2) determined		*BA33.30-N-1011-01E
		Coat sealing surfaces with sealant.	*BR00.45-Z-1092-02A
13	Install crown wheel with differential		AR33.30-W-0464B
14	Install front axle drive shafts		AR33.30-W-0100C
15	Connect propeller shaft	 Use new nuts	*BA41.10-N-1002-01F
