Release pressure line connection (42a) by 1 to 2 turns first and then completely unscrew

 Under certain circumstances a residual pressure of 2 to 3 bar may be present.
Seal pressure line with a suitable stop plug during repair work.

Check pressure line and pressure line connection (42a) for damage

If the pressure line is damaged or if the pressure line connection (42a) is damaged:



Repair pressure line or pressure line connection (42a).

Unscrew nuts (42b) and remove pressure reservoir (42)

 Nut, pressure reservoir to longitudinal member

Install in the reverse order

Fill AIRmatic or steel/air suspension using diagnostic system



Check AIRmatic or steel/air suspension for leaktightness
