Remove the left side support (22) from the gearbox

Remove the electric connectors and supports

Remove the speed sensor (B17)

With Code (GE1) automatic gears control (AGS).

Remove the countershaft cover (2)

 Utilize an appropriate tool.

Remove the lock-ring (3, 4)

Loosen the bolts joining the rear housing (23) to the front housing (26)

Install the removal device (35), the adapter (34) and the hydraulic cylinder on the gearbox front housing (26)

 The lock-ring (8) is highly tensioned. Therefore the lock-ring (8) needs to have its load relieved in the housing.
