1 | Remove engine or transmission | Select the procedure according to the setup and accessibility. | |
2 | Install assembly device on the clutch pressure plate (1) | ||
3 | Unscrew bolts (2), lift out the clutch pressure plate (1) with the assembly device and remove clutch plate (7) | Loosen the bolts (2) in small stages diagonally in order to avoid a one-sided load on the clutch pressure plate (1). | |
4 | Remove assembly device | ||
5 | Check clutch parts for wear and damage | ||

6 | Clean profile grooves in the clutch plate (7) and clean hub profile of the transmission input shaft | The nickel plated hub surface of the clutch plate (7) must not be greased in order to avoid the clutch plate (7) jamming. | |
7 | Clean sliding sleeve in clutch operator with release bearing (4) and guide tube at transmission | ||
8 | Clean guide bearing (5) in flywheel (6) | ||

9 | Slide the centering drift (3) into the guide bearing (5) in the flywheel (6) | | |
10 | Center the clutch plate (7) on the flywheel (6) via the centering drift (3) | ||
11 | Install assembly device on the clutch pressure plate (1) | Before installing the new clutch pressure plate (1) check whether the tongues of the diaphragm spring seat correctly in the clutch operator with clutch bearing (4). | |
12 | Install clutch pressure plate (1) with assembly device over the centering drift (3) | ||
13 | Tighten the bolts (2) in small stages in a crosswise pattern | While tightening ensure that centering drift (3) can still be moved easily. | |
