2 | Remove engine intake air ducts (2) | ||
3 | Remove front engine cover (1) | ||
4 | Unclip coolant hose (6) from mount on right cooler (4) | ||
5 | Detach lower engine compartment paneling | ||
6 | Disconnect connector (7) at fan shroud (5) | ||
7 | Close off coolant hose (8) at cooler (10) and hang to one side | Disposal of coolants: observe legal regulations or local wastewater requirements! Refer to Environmental Protection Catalog issued by MBVD/PWU for locations in Germany. | |

8 | Remove mount on cooler on the left (3) and mount on cooler on the right (4) | ||
9 | Lever fan shroud (5) out of cooler mount (9) and remove fan shroud (5) downwards | ||
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Check and correct engine cooling system fluid level | ||
12 | Inspect cooling system for leaks | ||
13 | Bleed cooling system | ||
