 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove the coolant thermostat.

Remove right charge air line (3).

 Screw/bolt, charge air manifold bracket to turbocharger

 Clamp, charge air line to charge air cooler

Remove coolant hose (2) from electric coolant pump (M75/11).

 Hose clamp pliers

Remove screws (5) and remove bracket (6).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (4).

Unclip electric lines from electric coolant pump (M75/11).

Remove screws (1) and remove electrical coolant pump (M75/11).
