5 Screw/bolt

Remove/install

Open engine hood

See information from vehicle manufacturer.

Partially drain coolant and collect it

Installation: Fill coolant up to proper level.

Remove cylinder head cover (1)

Remove coolant hoses (2, 3)

Remove screw/bolt (5) and remove bracket (4)

Remove screw/bolts (6)

Remove coolant thermostat housing (8)

Check connection fitting between coolant thermostat housing (8) and coolant pump (7); replace if necessary.

Remove seal between coolant thermostat (8) and cylinder head

Install in the reverse order

Check coolant level and correct if necessary

Inspect cooling system for leaks
