Remove engine trim panel

Remove engine panel (7)

Detach hose (4) from cylinder head cover (5)

Remove bolts (1) and cylinder head cover (5)

 Installation: Replace sealing washers (2) and gasket (6) of cylinder head cover (5). Inspect gasket (3) between cylinder head cover (5) and charge air manifold, replace if necessary.



Clean sealing surfaces of cylinder head cover (5) and the cylinder head

 Only scraper tools may be used for removing sealing residues.

Do not use grinding material.


