Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Lowering

Unscrew cap (2) on coolant expansion reservoir (1)

 Turn cap (2) slowly and release overpressure, then unscrew cap (2).

Remove bottom engine compartment paneling

 Installation: Only mount bottom engine compartment paneling after leak check.

Remove front bumper

Push drain hose (6) onto RH drain fitting (3) on cooler (5)

Open drain screw (4) at radiator (5) and drain coolant

 Observe regulations for disposal of coolant.

Filling

Tighten drain screw (4) on cooler (5) and detach drain hose (6) from drain fitting (3a)

Pour in coolant and bleed refrigeration system

Check refrigeration system for leaktightness
