Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Unscrew cap on coolant expansion reservoir

 Turn cap slowly and relieve overpressure, then unscrew cap.

Drain coolant at radiator

Slide drain hose onto left fitting (3) at radiator

Open drain screw (4) on radiator and drain coolant

 Observe regulations to dispose of coolant.

Turn key for about 5 s in ignition lock in position 1 and then turn key again into position 0

 Repeat process x 2 after a waiting time of approx. 30 s to thus empty low-temperature water circuit.

Open drain screw (5) on coolant pump (1) and drain coolant

Pour in

Tighten drain screw (4) at radiator and detach drain hose from fitting (3)

Tighten drain screw (5) at coolant pump and detach drain hose from fitting (3)
