Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Carefully unscrew cooling system cap (2) from coolant expansion reservoir (1)

 Turn cooling system cap (2) counterclockwise by half a revolution, relieve overpressure, and unscrew cooling system cap (2).

Raise vehicle

Remove lower engine compartment paneling

Push drain hose onto the drain valve (4) on the cooler

Open radiator drain screw (3) and drain coolant

 Collect coolant in a suitable container. Re-use clean coolant.

Close cooler drain screw (3) and detach drain hose from the cooler drain valve

Pour in

Pour in coolant and bleed cooling system
