Remove

 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Open cap on coolant expansion reservoir (1)

 Turn cap slowly and relieve overpressure, then unscrew cap.

Apply test pressure to cooling system


In order to prevent damage to the cooling system,
The specified test pressure must not be exceeded.

Check condition and correct seating of hose clamps

 Retighten or replace hose clamps if necessary.

Install

Check coolant hoses as well as their connecting points for coolant loss and check their condition

 Replace coolant hoses if necessary.

Unscrew tester cap (2) on coolant expansion reservoir (1)

 Unscrew tester cap (2) slowly and relieve overpressure.

Remove pressure pump (3) from tester cap (2)

Screw cap onto coolant expansion reservoir (1)

Close engine hood
