1 | Switch off ignition | ||
Danger! | Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted | Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut. | |
2 | Tilt cab | Installation: Only tilt cab back after engine oil level test has been conducted | |

3 | Remove soundproofing on frame above on the right | ||
4 | Unscrew oil filter cover (2) with oil filter element and remove | When the cap is unscrewed, the engine oil flows back from the oil filter housing into the oil pan. | |
Installation: Replace sealing ring. Inspect oil filter element for damage and contamination, replace oil filter element if necessary. | |||

5 | Loosen electrical engine wiring harness at the coolant inlet fitting | ||
6 | Release the plug for the electrical engine wiring harness (1) at the oil pressure and oil temperature combination sensor (B110) and disconnect | ||
7 | Remove oil pressure and oil temperature combination sensor (B110) | Collect engine oil that flows out. | |
Installation: Check O-ring at oil pressure and oil temperature combination sensor (B110) for damage and if necessary replace oil pressure and oil temperature combination sensor (B110). | |||

8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. | |
9 | Start engine and perform an engine test run | Do not rev up engine before oil pressure is indicated. The oil pressure gauge must indicate oil pressure after about 10 seconds. | |
10 | Switch off engine and check for leaks | Visual inspection. | |
11 | Check engine oil level using oil dipstick or on display, correct if necessary | Inspect engine oil level after waiting at least 5 min. after switching off the engine Observe engine oil grade set in maintenance system or Specifications for Operating Fluids. | |
