Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

Detach upper engine cover

Detach left or right air filter housing

Detach left or right soundproofing over injectors

Detach left or right feed line oil line (1L or 1R) from ATL and close off openings using suitable grommets

 Installation: Install new sealing rings.

 Bolt, oil feed line to turbocharger

Detach left or right feed line oil line (1L or 1R) from crankcase and close off openings using suitable grommets

 Installation: Install new sealing rings.

 Bolt, oil feed line to cylinder head

Remove left or right oil lines feed lines (1L or 1R)

Detach charge air cooler (3) at both charge air pipes and on throttle valve actuator and place with attached coolant lines to one side and secure against falling down

Detention poly-V belt and detach at the alternator (G2) or A/C compressor (A9)

Detach A/C compressor (A9), place with attached lines to one side and secure against falling down

 Screw/bolt, refrigerant compressor to timing case/crankcase/engine support

Detach alternator (G2), place with attached lines to one side and secure against falling down

Detach right return flow oil line (2R) from ATL and close off openings using suitable grommets

 Installation: Install new sealing rings.

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level; correct if necessary


