Risk of burn injuries and scalding when working at AdBlue lines and the components attached to them. Risk of injury to skin and eyes when handling AdBlue. Risk of poisoning from swallowing AdBlue

Only pour AdBlue into suitable containers. Only begin work on the exhaust aftertreatment system after releasing the pressure.

Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within tilting range of cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt cab all the way to end position and secure with safety strut.

Cover starter with clean rags

Before removing the injection line the starter located below must be protected against any dripping AdBlue with a clean rag otherwise the starter and the attached electrical cable sets can be damaged.

Prepare test facility for the checking the AdBlue dosing quantity

Test facility for checking the AdBlue dosing quantity of the metering device

Attach test injection line (1) with test injection nozzle (2) to metering device

Connect hose (4) to test injection nozzle (2) and fix in place using a cable tie (6)

Place bottle (5) on the floor

Ensure that hose (4) is not kinked.

The check is made with the aid of the STAR DIAGNOSIS.

Removal

Remove test facility on metering device

Clean test facility after use using clear water.

Install new injection line

The injection line must be replaced after each removal.

Remove rags from starter

Danger!
