Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Remove

Tilt cab

Remove soundproofing

Disconnect electrical connection (1)

4

Remove support (2) on bracket

5

Loosen poly-V belt (3)

AR13.22-W-3902-05MD

Remove poly-V belt (3) from tensioner pulley on poly-V belt tensioning device (4)

7

Push poly-V belt (3) through between fan (5) and fan shroud (6) and remove



Check

8

Check condition of poly-V belt (3)



 Install a new poly-V belt (3) if necessary.

Check belt pulley/vibration damper (7) for wear and damage

 Replace belt pulley/vibration damper (7) if necessary

Check coolant pump compressor belt pulley (8) for wear and damage

 Replace coolant pump if necessary.

Check poly-V belt tensioning device (4) for wear and damage

 Replace poly-V belt tensioning device (4) if necessary.

Check alternator belt pulley (9) for wear and damage

 Replace alternator if necessary.

Check guide pulleys (10, 11) for wear and damage

 Replace corresponding guide pulleys (10, 11) if necessary.

Check A/C compressor belt pulley (12) for wear and damage

 Replace A/C compressor if necessary.

Install

Install poly-V belt (3) as per routing diagram
