Remove/install

Remove partition wall between wheel wells

Remove engine cover

Remove engine air intake duct upstream of right air filter

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filters

Unscrew bolts (4, 5)

 Bolt, air filter housing to bracket

Remove air filter housing (1)

 First pull air filter housing (1) inwards, then forwards.

 Installation: Wet guides (6) with lubricant.

Remove air filter element

On replacing air filter housing (1) and air filter insert.



 Installation: On replacing one air filter housing (1) and air filter insert, also replace opposite air filter insert.

Install in the reverse order

Reset quantity mean value adaptation data using diagnostic system

On replacing air filter housing (1) and air filter insert.



 In the menu "Control unit adaptations" select the menu item "Quantity mean value adaptation data" and process.
