Remove partition wall between wheel wells

Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filters

Remove screw/bolts (7, 8)

 Bolt, air filter housing to bracket

Release and disconnect electrical connection on pressure sensor downstream of air filter (B28/5)

Remove air filter housing (5)

 Installation: Wet guides (9) with lubricant.

Remove air filter element

On replacing air filter housing (5) and air filter insert.



 Installation: On replacing one air filter housing (5) and air filter insert, also replace opposite air filter insert.

Install in the reverse order

Reset quantity mean value adaptation data using diagnostic system

On replacing air filter housing (5) and air filter insert.


