2 Retaining clamp

3 Sealing ring

B11/4 Coolant temperature sensor

Remove/install

Separate plug connection of coolant temperature sensor (1)

Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes from scalding with hot coolant which splashes out. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Drain coolant

At crankcase.

Use a screwdriver to press out retaining clamp (2)

Remove coolant temperature sensor (B11/4)

Installation:Replace seal (3).

Install in the reverse order

Inspect cooling system for leaks
