Remove/install

Start control unit replacement with vehicle diagnosis system.

When replacing the CDI control unit (N3/9).



Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove cover (4).

Remove screws/bolts (2).

Remove the CVDI control unit   (N3/9).

 Installation: Check condition and correct seat of seal in air filter housing, replace and/or correctly position if necessary.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3).

Install in the reverse order.

Read out and delete fault memory.



Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper leaktightness and leaktightness.
