Remove/install

Remove diesel injection system control unit (3) from the air filter housing (4) and place to one side with connected electric lines.

Disconnect electrical connection (2).

Turn intake manifold pressure sensor (1) 90° in the direction of the arrow and remove from air filter housing (4).

Seal opening in air filter housing (4) with a stop plug.

 Record plug

Check sealing ring of the intake manifold pressure sensor (1) for damage.

If a new intake manifold pressure sensor (1) is not installed.

If damage is identified,



install new intake manifold pressure sensor (1).

Install in the reverse order



Check

Read out and delete fault memory.



Perform engine test run and check air filter housing (4) in the area of the intake manifold pressure sensor (1) for leak tightness.
