1	Remove engine cover
	Perform operation steps 2 to 10 for removal of the right rail (1)
2	Unclip guide for engine wiring harness (2) on the right side
3	Remove oil separator		AR01.20-P-9750LFD
4	Remove injection lines (3)		AR07.16-P-1080SXI
5	Unscrew union nuts on connecting line (4)	 Fuel line between left and right tail	*BA07.16-P-1024-01C
6	Detach connecting line (4) at charge air manifold	 Fuel line to cylinder head cover / lifting eye / charge air manifold	*BA07.16-P-1022-01C
7	Disconnect electrical connection on high pressure fuel pressure sensor (B4/6)
8	Expose electrical wiring harness on real rail (1)	 Replace cable tie.
9	Remove bracket (5)	 Pay attention to correct installation position of bracket (5).
		 Bolt, rail to cylinder head	*BA07.16-P-1003-01C
10	Remove right rail (1) upwards
	Perform operation steps 11 to 22 for removal of the left rail
11	Remove engine charge air duct		AR09.41-P-8622LFD
12	Unclip guide for engine wiring harness (2) on the right side
13	Remove injection lines (3)		AR07.16-P-1080SXI
14	Unscrew union nuts on connecting line (4)	 Fuel line between left and right tail	*BA07.16-P-1024-01C
15	Detach connecting line (4) at charge air manifold	 Fuel line to cylinder head cover / lifting eye / charge air manifold	*BA07.16-P-1022-01C
16	Unscrew union nut for high-pressure line (7)	 Pressure line to high-pressure pump to rail	*BA07.16-P-1026-01C
17	Detach high-pressure line (7) from cylinder head cover	 Fuel line to cylinder head cover / lifting eye / charge air manifold	*BA07.16-P-1022-01C
18	Detach high-pressure line (7) from high-pressure pump and remove high-pressure line (7)	 Close off connections for high-pressure line (7) immediately after removal as a protection against contamination. Do not crush or deform high-pressure line (7).

19	Disconnect electrical connection at pressure regulating valve (Y74)
20	Detach return hose (8) from left rail (6)	 Installation: Replace snap clamp.
21	Remove bracket (5)	 Pay attention to correct installation position of bracket (5).
		 Bolt, rail to cylinder head	*BA07.16-P-1003-01C
22	Remove left rail (6) upwards
	Check
23	Check sealing cone on high-pressure line (7)	 Installation: In the case of visible pressure marks on the sealing cone, replace high-pressure line (7).
24	Check sealing cone for connecting line (4)	 Installation: In the case of visible pressure marks on the sealing cone, replace connecting line (4).
25	Install in the reverse order
 Danger !	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
