Install

Insert exhaust camshaft (5) in camshaft housing lower section (2).



Specified engine oils (service) - Overview

 Wet camshaft bearing points with engine oil.

Insert end stop (A) into intake camshaft (4).

Insert spacer (B) into intake camshaft (4).

Press CAMTRONIC element (4a) in specified direction (arrow C) against spacer (B).

Insert intake camshaft (4) in camshaft housing lower section (2).

Specified engine oils (service) - Overview

 Wet camshaft bearing points with engine oil.

 Ensure that the CAMTRONIC element (4a) is not twisted during insertion (arrow D).

Remove spacer (B) and end stop (A).
