 Model 209: Do not connect quiescent current retention unit, otherwise this may cause damage to the control units.

Remove alternator (G2)

 Remove the upper and lower bolt from the generator (G2), move the generator (G2) to the rear between the frame and the engine block. Use suitable underlay to place alternator (G2) on.

 Installation: Install new sealing ring (5).

Read out fault memory and erase

 After work is complete, faults stored in the fault memory must be processed and erased. The stored faults can be caused by removed lines, assembly operations, test operations as well as by a simulation.


