Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove automatic transmission.

Remove screws (2) and remove washer (3).

Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process

 To do so, counterhold belt pulley. Use helper.

 Installation: Replace screw/bolts (2).

 Bolt, drive plate to crankshaft

Remove drive plate (1).

 Installation: The retaining pin of the crankshaft must engage in the mounting hole of the drive plate (1).



Check

Check ring gear of the drive plate (1) for damage.

If the ring gear of the drive plate (1) is damaged,



Install new drive plate (1).

Check rear radial shaft sealing ring for leak tightness.

If a leak is present,



Replace rear radial shaft sealing ring.
