Disconnect ground cable at battery

Remove engine hood

Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove attached parts at intake manifold

Unhook Bowden cable from engine throttle control

Unscrew vacuum line (6) from the vacuum pump

Detach vacuum lines (7) from the engine

Take off hydraulic lines at power steering pump

 Press together the cams of the coupling for this step.
