2 | Remove the lock from the ball terminal (2) and disengage the rod from the engine-brake actuation pneumatic cylinder(1). | Apply high temperatures resistant grease | |

4 | Inspect the pneumatic cylinder (1), the junction parts and throttle axle for wearing. | ||
5 | Check the secure lever attachment at the end of the throttle spline. | ||
6 | Adjust the pre-tensioning (D) of the pneumatic cylinder mounting. | This measurement will be correctly adjusted when air cylinder rod is pulled according to correspondent measurement. | |
The prior-tension eliminates the vibrations caused by the valve (throttle), thus avoiding the premature wear of the engine-brake assembly. | |||
