Immobilizer indicator lamp
The indicator lamp is actuated by a switched positive signal
(c. 15) from the IMM control module. In the event of a short circuit, the output is deactivated and released again only after the ignition is switched back on.
PWM version (engine 111)
The indicator lamp is switched on:
for min. 2 s after switching "ON" the ignition.
The indicator lamp is switched off:
approx. 2 s after switching on the ignition when the immobilizer is deactivated,
when a short circuit is present at the output,
or when the ignition is switched off.

CAN version (engines 601/602)
The indicator lamp is switched on:
after switching on the ignition when the immobilizer is activated,
or when the engine status "Enable" is not transmitted by the engine electronic module within 1 s after switching on the ignition.
The indicator lamp is switched off:
when the ignition is switched off.
or after receipt of the engine status "Enable".
Note
Due to the fact that the indicator lamps for preglowing and the immobilizer are consolidated to one indicator lamp (preglow symbol), actuation is as follows in normal operation (immobilizer deactivated):
The indicator lamp comes on after switching on the ignition and goes out after end of preglow time.Engine can be started.
