☐ Change in blower level in automatic mode: When the blower level is changed downwards, i.e. less air supply, fogging of the windshield and the side windows can occur. This fogging of the windows can occur to an extreme extent during humid weather, as well as during wet/cold weather or when driving through tunnels. In order to avoid this the driver must operate the blower manually and increase the blower stage. The change in blower level is only effective in automatic mode.
☐ Change in temperature level: When the temperature level is changed downwards, i.e. more cold air supply, fogging of the windshield can occur in cold weather.
☐ Change in recirculation air function: When the air recirculation function is changed, i.e. manual air recirculation switching is activated for an unlimited time, fogging of the windows can occur up to and including a total loss of vision. The air quality in the vehicle interior is also impaired. This can lead to premature fatigue or impaired attentiveness in road traffic. The customer must switch off the air recirculation button manually again in good time. Otherwise, particularly at low outside temperatures, the windows can fog up because no fresh air is drawn in in air-recirculation mode.
☐ Change of "minimum permissible outside temperature for evaporator drying after ignition is switched off": If the temperature level is changed downwards, evaporator drying is still performed 1 h after the vehicle is switched off, even at colder temperatures. Due to the physical conditions, this can lead to fogging of the windows in parked vehicles.
