In order to successfully operate the FleetBoard telematics platform, the inserted telephone card must fulfill the following prerequisites:
The telephone card originates from one of the cellular telephone system providers listed below
The SMS service is enabled
Data calls are enabled with the following parameters: Data call with bearer type 9600 bps (V110) asynchronous, non transparent
Configure telephone card
A mobile phone must be used to configure the telephone card.
Additional costs may be incurred if the card is not configured or configured incorrectly.
1 Enter SMS-C number as per the relevant cellular telephone system provider in the list below.

2 Set telephone card PIN number to "5540".
3 Deactivate any call blocking or diverting that may be active.

Install telephone card
4 Remove seal (4) on telephone card holder (1).
5 Pull telephone card holder (1) out of installation opening of FleetBoard vehicle computer (2) and remove the existing telephone card (3).
6 Insert customer's telephone card (3) into telephone card holder (1) and slide telephone card holder (1) into installation opening of FleetBoard vehicle computer (2) until it engages.
The telephone card holder (1) is no longer sealed.
Further handling of the removed telephone card will have to be clarified with the responsible FleetBoard sales representative.
