Remove/install

Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit

Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.

Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Danger!

Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Disconnect connector (2) from connector coupling (1)

Open bayonet lock (3) and remove connector coupling (1) from retaining plate (4)

Clamp off coolant hose (5)



Open hose clamp (6) at heater (9) and detach coolant hose from heater connection fitting (7)

 Use clean vessel to collect escaping coolant (approx. 0,9 l).

 Installation: After installing the heater, pour any coolant that escaped back into the coolant circuit.

Open hose clamp (8) at heater (9) and detach coolant hose (10) from connection fitting (11)

Cut cable tie (12)

No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Detach fuel line (13) from heater

 Seal fuel line with suitable stop plug.

Detach exhaust line (16) and combustion air line (17)

Unscrew bolts (20, 22) and remove heater from brackets (18, 19)



Install in the reverse order

 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Start engine and bleed cooling and heating system

Allow engine to warm up for approx. one minute at varying rpm.

Top up coolant continuously up to top mark in the coolant expansion reservoir.

Turn off engine

Check coolant hose connections for leaks

Check stationary heater for proper operation
