Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. | |

4 | Disconnect coolant feed hose (2) and coolant outlet hose (1) to STH or HB heater unit (A6) and coolant pump | Catch coolant with suitable vessel. | |
Danger! | Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit | Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves. | |
5 | Disconnect fuel line (3) from the STH or HB heater unit (A6) | Catch fuel running out with suitable vessel. | |
6 | Disconnect electrical connectors (4, 5) from electrical connection lines. | Installation: replace tie straps (6). | |
7 | Disconnect exhaust line (7) from STH or HB heater unit (A6) | ||
8 | Disconnect air supply line from STH or HB heater unit (A6) | ||
9 | Remove STH or HB heater unit (A6) | Loosen mounting screws (8) and lift out STH or HB heater unit (A6). | |
10 | Remove coolant circulation pump | ||
11 | Install in the reverse order | ||
12 | Pour in coolant | ||

13 | Bleed coolant circuit after completing installation of STH or HB heater unit (A6) | ||
14 | Start up stationary heater | If the STH or HB heater unit (A6) switches itself off before reaching its operating temperature and cannot be restarted, there is a fault interlock. Eliminate fault interlock: | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | ||
15 | Cooling and heating system - check condition of radiator, lines and hoses | ||
