1	Remove wheels		AR00.60-D-1000-01B
2	Remove rear-axle shaft (11)
3	Unscrew outer slotted nut (10)	 Bend up locking plate (9)	*314589030700
4	Remove locking plate (9) and unscrew inner slotted nut (8)		*314589030700
5	Remove thrust plate (7) and outer tapered roller bearing (6)
6	Pull off rear wheel hub (5)	  If the rear wheel hub cannot be removed, use a suitable screwdriver to set the brake shoes back through the hole (arrow) in the shield (13)	*035589013300
7	Check thrust ring (2) for damage and galling	 If necessary, split thrust ring using a chisel and remove
8	Remove radial sealing ring (3)
9	Remove inner tapered roller bearing (4)
	Install
10	Install inner tapered roller bearing (4)	 Multipurpose grease	*BR00.45-Z-1034-06A
11	Install radial sealing ring (3)	 Coat radial sealing ring without rubberized external surface with sealant on outer circumference	*BR00.45-Z-1012-01A
		Multipurpose grease	*BR00.45-Z-1034-06A

12.1	If necessary, install new thrust ring (2)	 Heat thrust ring to approx. 80 °C and fit all the way on to axle tube (1)
13	Slide rear wheel hub (5) onto axle tube (1)	 Take care not to damage the sealing lip of the radial sealing ring
14	Insert outer tapered roller bearing (6) and thrust plate (7)	Multipurpose grease	*BR00.45-Z-1034-06A
15	Tighten inner slotted nut (8)	  Tighten inner slotted nut while constantly turning rear wheel hub	*BA35.20-N-1001-06C

17	Fit locking plate (9)	 Use new locking plate
