Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Measure adjustment dimension for turnbuckle (guideline value 127 mm) (a) from bolt center to bolt center, adjust if necessary

 To adjust the turnbuckle (1), release the jam nuts (2), adjust according to guideline value 127 mm and then tighten again.

Turn key in ignition lock to drive position

 See owner's manual.

Call up measurement value no. 14 in instrument cluster

 Call up the main menu for diagnosis of gear control measurement values in the menu, see operator's manual.

Shift when in gear from 1st to 3rd gear on the Telligent shift control unit, read out measurement 14 and enter in the measurement table for adjusting the range group

Shift into 5th gear using the emergency switch on the Telligent shift control unit, read out measurement value 14 and enter in the measurement table for adjusting the range group

 The vehicle has to be at a standstill to enable a shift to be made from the basic position to 5th gear using the emergency switch. See chapter on "Self-help/gearshift" in the subchapter "Emergency running mode with emergency switch" in operator's manual .

Turn key in ignition lock to end stop and then back to drive position

Call up measurement value no. 14 in instrument cluster again

 Call up the main menu for diagnosis of gear control measurement values in the menu, see operator's manual.

Detach turn buckle (1) from shift lever (3)

Use an extension pipe to manually shift the shift lever (3) back, then push to the end stop and hold.

 Consult a second fitter. Shift

Read out GS measurement value 14 and enter into the measurement table for adjusting the range group

Use an extension pipe to manually shift the shift lever (3) forward, then push to the end stop and hold.

 Consult a second fitter. Shift

Read out GS measurement value 14 and enter into the measurement table for adjusting the range group

Install turnbuckle (1) on gearshift lever (3)

Compute the adjustment values in the measurement table

Compare the results from the measurement table with measurement 14 on the instrument cluster, adjust turnbuckle (1) if necessary

 To adjust turnbuckle (1) loosen jam nuts (2) and tighten again after the adjustment. The bushings (4) must be in alignment with one another.

Turn key in ignition lock back to end stop
